2020.09.25 03:05 Puchuchoni [POWERPIVOT] - Can't create date table. All options in Design tab are greyed out besides adding a column or inserting a function.

I set myself to learn PowerPivot to analyse and parse some data at work. In Powerpivot, for some reason, the options to create a date table for this particular workbook are greyed out and I can't do anything other than add columns and formulae to the existing table.
I copied the data from the original workbook to a new one and still had the same problem. I created a new, empty workbook with and it let me create a date table. I'm completely at a loss since I'm trying to get started with it, and Google has been of no help so far.
The workbook in question.
Thanks in advance, this is a great community.

2020.09.25 01:41 HoyaResearcher Looking to survey homeschooling U.S. military families for academic research project

Homeschooling military families survey
Hello, my name is Kevin Sandell, and I am both an active duty U.S. Army officer and a graduate student at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. As part of my final semester, I have partnered with the National Park Trust®, a 501(C)(3) national non-profit organization dedicated to preservation and stewardship of parks nationwide, to improve their communication efforts to homeschooling U.S. military families. Military families are a key audience to engage, as our mobile lifestyles often create unique opportunities for learning and recreation in the great outdoors.
The results of this survey will be used by the National Park Trust to learn more about homeschooling military families’ thoughts on outdoor education and recreation opportunities, and to improve its communication efforts to the larger military community. All results will remain anonymous and will be aggregated to provide relevant and effective data. This data will not be shared publicly or outside the National Park Trust and are used strictly for academic research purposes. Finally, no personally identifiable information will be collected in this survey, unless you enter the giveaway drawing described below. Thank you for your help in completing this survey!
The National Park Trust will send six (6) randomly-selected individuals who complete the survey a FREE Buddy Bison plush toy or National Park Trust Hydra Flask water bottle as a “thank you” for completing the survey. If you would like to be considered for the drawing, please provide your name and email address at the end of the survey (this information will only be used for entries into the giveaway drawing, and will not be used for marketing purposes).

2020.09.25 01:33 darynak How We Grew Our SaaS Blog Traffic to 30k Monthly Visits in 6 Months [Case Study]

Hey, Entrepreneur!
In the last 6 months, we’ve been able to grow our blog’s search traffic from 500 to 30k monthly visits. This doesn’t count any direct traffic, by the way. And it was meaningful traffic too. In fact, 18% of our sign-ups in the month of August came from our blog, making content our 2nd highest growth channel.
While we’re still very early on this journey, I thought I’d share my learnings so far and how we got here. If you’re a founder getting started with SEO and content marketing, this post is for you. I wish I read it last year.
I'm pasting the content here but if you want to see the full post with all screenshots, check it out here:
How We Grew Our SaaS Blog Traffic to 30k Monthly Visits in 6 Months ⤴️
********

Why are we investing in content marketing?

We identified SEO and content marketing as a key growth channel for us for several reasons:
  1. High keyword search volume for terms related to business phone systems, VoIP, business phone solutions, etc. Thousands of people looking for what we’re building, how can we get in front of them?
  2. High intent. Folks already looking for a solution like ours have higher intent than those who we serve a FB / IG ad. We can convert many of them into customers.
  3. Fresh perspective. A lot of existing content on topics related to business telephony is very dated. We have a chance to become the go-to source for modern companies and folks who don’t want to be stuck in the past. For example, do you really need extensions in 2020? 🙂
  4. Compound impact. SEO is one of the few channels that compounds as you grow.
  5. Create once, distribute everywhere. This has been inspired by Jeff Chang‘s tweet below and holds true to how we think about content. A lot of articles we publish serve the double-duty of creating more value for existing customers and bringing on new customers. For example, we share our 25 business text message templates with all new users as a part of OpenPhone onboarding. It’s also bringing new customers to us via Google Search.

How we grew our blog to 30k monthly visits

Step 1: Started writing on Medium and forums

In late 2017 I set up a Medium account for OpenPhone. I had experience writing on my personal Medium before so it was the easiest way to get started. We hadn’t launched at that time so the handful of posts I wrote on Medium were pre-product and very much experimental.
I got ideas for what to write about from the questions I saw folks ask in different forums for startups and small businesses (our target audience).
Ultimately, I didn’t get many views on my Medium posts and put them on hold while we were in YC. It was only once I published about our experience at YC (meta, I know) that I saw the potential of content for OpenPhone. Surprisingly, a good number of folks discovered and signed up for OpenPhone through that post.
At the same time, I contributed to business telephony questions on Quora and Reddit.
While initially posting on Medium and online forums helped refine my writing skills, I wish we would have started with our own dedicated blog from day 1. This way, any content we published would live on our own domain and improve our site ranking. Instead, I contributed to Medium’s SEO.

Step 2: Set up our dedicated blog

In December 2019, we set up our dedicated blog (where you’re reading this post). It’s a simple WordPress blog hosted on WP Engine and with the Contentberg theme.
As you already know by now, I wish we set it up on day 1. Do me a favor and don’t make my mistake. Start writing on your own blog, not on Medium.

Step 3: First content on the blog

As soon as we had our blog ready to go, we had to make sure it doesn’t sit around empty. Besides importing some of the content from Medium, we had to start from scratch.
The first two articles we published were answers to the frequently asked questions from potential customers.
80+% of entrepreneurs use their personal phone numbers for business, which means that most folks get their first business phone number on OpenPhone. I’ve heard a lot of stories from customers who regretted using their personal cell # initially and thought that it would be useful to have them outlined in an article for any prospects we were already talking to. I didn’t want to copy and paste my answers all the time.
This article was inspired by an email I received from an OpenPhone customer. Turns out having your personal cell number easily available online is a very bad idea.
This prompted me to research data removal. I also learned that I had to scrape my own number from the Internet, too.
It turned out that this topic is relevant to other founders so when I posted my post on different forums, I got great feedback. I recently realized our post is ranked #2 on Google for this topic and has brought almost 5k visits in the last 6 months.

Step 4: Basic SEO research

In January 2020 I started trialing SEMrush. It was fun to couple my content instincts (from talking to customers) with insights into what people actually search for.
We started out with a simple principle. What search terms are bringing our competitors the most traffic? Of course, not all traffic is created equal. Some queries have high intent to purchase a solution while others have little to no intent. At this stage, I wanted to understand what others in our space were doing and where we can fit in.
If you’re using SEMrush, you can find this quickly from the Domain Overview section. Just type the URL of any competitor. Here are our current top organic keywords, as an example.
The topic of “voicemail greetings” quickly emerged as a good topic to cover. Several of our competitors like MightyCall, Telzio, and Talkroute had this topic bringing them a lot of traffic. That being said, a lot of the examples in their posts were outdated. We thought we could do better and created our collection of 21 voicemail greetings with text + audio examples for people to download.
Also, since setting up a custom voicemail greeting is a part of the onboarding flow for OpenPhone users, we included the link to this post in our onboarding. 1 piece of content —> multiple use cases.

Step 5: Create a content strategy

By February, we saw glimpses of success. We finished the month at around ~500 visits to our blog. Unlike paid acquisition, content takes time to rank and result in direct ROI. So while I was patient, I knew it was time to get help.
Thanks to Omri Mor (Co-Founder at Routable), I got connected to Taran Soodan who has been working with us on our content ever since.
Taran suggested the following content plan:
  1. Optimize existing posts ranking on the 2nd page of Google for high-volume keywords to quickly improve our search rankings and traffic
  2. Create content comparing OpenPhone with our competitors
  3. Create new content focused on topics relevant to OpenPhone + questions we get from our customers
Below I’ll share with you our exact steps.
1 – Optimize existing content
By March, we already had a handful of posts ranking on the second and third pages of Google for target terms.
We started with a handful of posts, but let’s look at how we optimized our 21 Professional Voicemail Greeting Examples post.
The post provides 21 valuable examples of good voicemail greetings. It’s a great post with lots of actionable examples. Seems like a slam dunk for SEO, right? At its best, it would only rank in the middle of the 2nd page on Google.
So why didn’t it rank even though it provides value? It was missing relevant keywords and didn’t have an intro.
As a part of our efforts to improve our ranking for “professional voicemail,” we ran a search in SEMrush using their Keyword Magic Tool to see which keywords we needed to include in our post. We could see from the below screenshot that we needed to include a few variations of the keyword.
Now that we knew which keywords to use, we updated the post. The original post didn’t have much of an intro section, so we added an intro and incorporated keywords from the research we did with SEMrush. Once we republished the post, we hit the first page of Google within 2 weeks. Within 2 months, we hit the #1 ranking for “business voicemail greeting.” And it’s still at #1.
Does it sound like what we did was really simple? That’s because it was. Content optimization is a good path to pursue because making just a few changes to existing posts that are already ranking can result in faster results than posting new articles.
2 – Create content comparing OpenPhone with competitors
At OpenPhone, we’re building a calling and messaging solution for startups and small businesses. From conversations with our customers, we knew they compared us with services like Google Voice, Dialpad, and RingCentral when making a choice.
We knew we needed to show the advantages of using OpenPhone and how we’re different.
The great thing about comparison pages is that folks searching for alternatives or looking to compare tools generally have high intent.
We know Google Voice is a popular VoIP service given it’s free. But that means it has a lot of limitations when used for business. So we used our blog post to highlight the limitations of Google Voice for folks looking for a better option.
That post ranks #1 for Google Voice alternative and it’s one of our best-converting blog posts right now. We’ve used the same principles to create content for other competitors.
3 – Create new content focused on topics relevant to OpenPhone
Tools like Google Trends, Ahrefs, and SEMrush can make it easy and fun to perform keyword research and see what topics people care about. I like combining that data with the things I learn when talking to customers as prospects. That way, the content we publish is relevant and useful to our target audience.
Here’s the process we use for keyword research when determining new topics for OpenPhone:

Step 6: Go beyond SEO to deliver value to your community

While the focus of this post has been on SEO and getting more customers to discover you via Google, you have to keep in mind why you’re creating content in the first place.
For us, it’s all about helping fellow startups and small businesses grow.
Whether we do it by recommending how to set up your SMS workflows or sharing how we use Zapier, we want to make sure everything we put out there helps you succeed.
Creating high-quality and shareworthy content is above all else for us. Only truly useful content can earn backlinks and shares, increasing your SEO juice, and generating more visitors for your blog as a result. So please do let me know if you found this post useful. 🙂

Results

To sum it up, here are our results from February to September 2020. We’ve published 33 articles within this time. That’s 4.7 per month, on average. Our search traffic to the blog went from 500 to 30,000 visits per month. This doesn’t count any direct traffic to blog posts. We didn’t do any paid content promotion. And we didn’t ask for (or pay for) backlinks either.
18% of all our sign-ups for the month of August came directly from our blog. Let’s see what we have in store for September!

Conclusion

When done right, content and SEO can be a huge source of growth for early-stage startups. If you think this channel has a lot of potential for you, start right away. You have to start somewhere so don’t worry about making your first posts “perfect”. They never are. Consistency is far more important. If you can answer a question for your customer or a potential customer, you’ve got a useful piece of content that others might find valuable as well.
Hope you found this post useful. If you start a blog or write a post inspired by this, send it over to me. I’d love to see it!

2020.09.25 00:58 noriginal_username Are there any good sources of information about the commercial cannabis industry online?

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this kind of question but I figured the redditors on trees would know more than the average Joe. I'm working on a report about the processes in the commercial (aka recreational, legal, retail) cannabis industry, and while I have been able to find sparse information here and there, it is difficult finding any consolidated data or quotable anecdotes. I was wondering if anyone could suggest data sites, research papers, or professional online communities that would have the kind of information I am looking for.
EDIT: It has been pointed out I should be a bit more specific so the kind of data I am looking for is
Average revenue, I have found a bit of this but a consolidated source would be nice
Average plants per business, I have seen in WA for example they have tier 1, 2, and 3, with sq ft restrictions each, but I haven't found a good number for average number of plants per sq ft, or what the average usage of space per business is, since they have a wide margin and 70% average vs 90% average usage makes a big difference
Common best practices, I know some businesses make concentrates or edibles for example, but its hard to find out which processes they use, or whether there's any consistency in the method used in the industry.
inventory turn over, how long does the average bud sit on a shelf?

2020.09.25 00:38 stars537 Thursday September 24, 2020: 28,224 total positives, 237 new positives with 2 additional covid related deaths

Hello everyone,
Today's 237 new positives represent 3.4% of the 6967 new tests. The seven day average for new positives is 146.43 and the seven day percent of positives is 2.52%. Our September high for seven day averages had been 132 and 2.49% on Sept 1, both the number of positives and seven day average percents had been decreasing since the beginning of the month, but have trended upward again since September 9th (94 and 1.9%) . Today's seven day averages exceed that previous high for September. For perspective, our highest new positives and percents averages are from the end of July (July 27th) at 330 per day and 4.5%.
859 New Mexicans have died from covid-19, with 2 additional deaths reported today. RIP to those people and sincere condolences to every family, friends and communities.
There are currently 66 people in the '7 hub hospital ICU beds'. This number is a decrease of 6 from yesterday. This metric has been fairly consistent and has been equal to 68 plus or minus 4 since August 21st, except for a couple days in the high 70s and a couple days at 59.
As I have mentioned, I have not seen an official definition of this metric, but our highs were in the 200s... up to 230 In May and June. From another reddit poster, this number is telling us how many covid-19 positive people are in any hospital.
15,825 people are listed as recovered which means 11,540 remain positive. The number of total positives has stayed below 12,000 since August 25th. Everyone else get well soon!
The percent of patients per number of positives - that number has been .70% or below since August 20th, and is equal to .57% today. In our earlier 'peak' times, this metric was higher and in the 3% to 6% ranges. This metric has been below 1% since August 12th.

2020.09.25 00:35 barkos Online doesn't matter

This is a response to some of the ideas that seem to have taken hold this thread: https://www.reddit.com/samharris/comments/iyd35z/does_anybody_else_think_the_quality_of/
Now it is reasonable to say that not all of what happens in every online space matters to the real world. Most of it doesn't. This forum is, the topics posted here aren't, representative of what it's like to walk down a street in a city and ask people what they care about. This place isn't a vertical slice of any nation's people's thoughts on any matter. And yet --
Let's turn the clock back half a year. When Sars-Cov-2 started becoming a global issue, and you were one of the people visiting the right online spaces, you could watch some of the most prolific conspiracy theories develop live in front of your eyes. The tenuous connections, the pseudo-scientific mumbo-jumbo, the osmosis with preexisting conspiracies, the politicization, the misinterpreting of the data available - all the manure vomited in a handful of threads happening faster than even the most educated person on the subject could have shoveled if they tried.
A couple of days later you see someone mentioning it in a less obscure place. It's funny at first because you know where that nonsense came from. A week or two go by and a twitter thread or a facebook page pops up that discusses it. You might not go to any of these websites regularly but to some these threads are used as a reference sheet to convince others online of the theories that are contained within it. You might even see the very first instance of the original theory having been slightly altered, like in a not-so-long-running game of telephone in which the initial word still hasn't dissipated completely yet. Another week goes by and you see the first mention of that theory online by an acquaintance, relative or friend. Doesn't matter who it is; the point is that this absurdity that was previously only discussed by strangers online you had absolutely no personal connection with now made its way to someone you actually know. It's been a month now, you sit at the dinner table and the person sitting across from you seamlessly transitions from their monologue about the latest tiktok fad to a power point presentation on how Covid-19 is basically just an invention of the shadow cabal of Hollywood child predators in cahoots with the free masons to forcefully vaccinate people with a sterilizing agent developed by Bill Gates to gain control over the population growth.
What happened? How did that discourse you observed a month ago between a bunch of ironic and unironic shitposters seethe over into the real world? How come there are sizable crowds of people all over the world protesting mask requirements and when you look at the signs they've been holding up you occasionally see the faint shadow of that one dumb post from that one dumb thread from that one dumb website hosted on that one dumb space called the internet?
Now I don't want to paint the wrong picture here. One of the reasons why these theories found an audience in the first place was because people were already dissatisfied with the situation to begin with. And obviously not all of it came from the same few places, it wasn't all spread and cooked up by neurotic, terminally online conspiracy theorists to whom typing up new science-fiction story comes natural. But when you hear it in the real world and know where it came from you start to realize that the lines between what's happening online and offline can be blurred and you start to wonder how much of what people care about originated from, or was at least proliferated in, the online spaces they visit. That doesn't mean that Sam's twitter engagement is an exercise in interacting with reality. But I think it's just lazy to do the "it's just the internet, bro" shtick and expect to get away with it when some of the same people on this forum that complain about it spend a significant portion of their time complaining about the twitter posts of a guy whose ideas they think are dangerous and shouldn't be proliferated. Which one is it? Does it matter what people say online or is it irrelevant? Is it representative of anything or is it all just smoke? Make up your mind and don't just pivot on the spot. If Sam's just fighting windmills then there are a decent number of people in this community who are windmill fighting heavy weight champions.

Statements by Dr Hinshaw
Opioid Report
  • Many Albertans who use opioids face challenges and the pandemic has had dire impacts on their lives
  • In the first 6 months of 2020, 449 died from apparent unintentional opioid poisoning (301 between April and June)
  • Deaths rose during first few months of pandemic. Challenges were faced in accessing supports/service while increasing stress/anxiety/isolation occurred
  • 3,000+ emergency/urgent care visits related to opioid use between April and June
  • Other jurisdictions have seen similar trends
  • Covid protocol has been adjusted to ensure individuals who use drugs can access critical services (harm reduction to treatment to recovery)
  • Will continue to work to reduce the impact of Covid prevention measures on accessing services
  • Stresses that help is available and, if you use drugs, don't use them alone
  • "Ripple effects" of Covid is large and we need to balance Covid-19 and the impacts of the restrictions
Schools
  • 13 schools with alerts have had no transmission since
  • Active alerts/outbreaks (1+ cases) in 97 schools with 163 active cases in total (4% of schools)
  • 32 school outbreaks (2+ cases), 7 with likely transmission, 4 with 5+ cases
  • In school aged cases, weekly # of 5-19 year olds are most strongly trending with overall cases, with peak cases in age group matching peak cases in Alberta
  • Since school started, there has been a week-over-week decrease in cases for this age group despite increases in testing for this group
  • This isn't to minimize school safety, but to highlight importance of community transmission
Foothills
  • Death today was in Foothills
  • Foothills outbreak is concerning and AHS is moving quickly
  • 29 cases (17 patients), 3 deaths in total to date
  • AHS is testing and isolating with "significant precautions"
  • Multiple staff swabbing sites have been installed to increase staff testing on outbreak units. Staff on units are screened twice daily
  • Natural to ask if hospitals are at risk. AHS has moved quickly to protect
  • Stresses that policy is only part of the equation: we all must do our part
  • If you are sick, do not visit/enter a care facility and follow the public health measures "to the letter" while there
  • Recognizes the inconvenience and financial difficulty. Continues to advocate that employers support their employees whenever possible so they can stay home when sick...also recognizes that this can be difficult on employers
Thanksgiving
  • While we want to meet during Thanksgiving, we want to keep it safe
  • Keep it to a maximum 15 people outside your household
  • Have one person plate everyone's meals (or even pre-portion the meal)
Q&A - Second Wave
  • Do you agree with Trudeau's statement that we are in the second wave?: A "wave" implies we have no control over the transmission. Some provinces have determined what they call a wave. Doesn't think that's where Alberta is...case growth is growing but have been relatively stable. Waves are one possible future, as are "small ripples". Albertan's actions are going to decide which we see
  • Are targeted lockdowns being planned in the event of second wave?: It is an option (refers to "enhanced" category online)
Q&A - Covid Cases
  • Should we expect testing numbers to change with no more asymptomatic testing?: It hasn't impacted volume of testing to date. Seems too early to say
  • Why no new model?: Models do not predict future and, while a new model is in development, the overall question of "what we will see" in the fall is already publicly known
  • Is the outbreak in Hope Mission Shelter going to require an increase in distance between mats?: Yes, as per guidelines. Hasn't asked local colleague to ensure has occurred yet
  • Source for Foothills outbreak?: No further information
Q&A - Other
  • Officials in US/Canada are increasingly being personally targeted. Why is this happening? Are you?: Pandemic has caused suffering and health professionals become easy outlet for suffering. While receiving a lot of correspondence from Albertans (including personal and professional criticisms), hasn't received "hate mail or threats"
  • Do you think the harassment is tied to being a woman?: Difficult question to answer as she can only go with her own experience. May be interesting to discuss with male counterparts. Regardless, questions and criticism should be presented respectfully
  • You previously recommended supervised consumption sites for opioids. Are you still pressing for it?: Important to separate different bodies of work. Thinks that "broad spectrum of services" is important. Allocation of resources are policy decisions (defers to Ministers after this)
Additional information will be logged below:
  • Edmonton Northeast's active cases: 93 (-14)
  • Calgary Upper NE's active cases: 104 (+1)

2020.09.24 23:52 SunRayCity Most ABCD Place in Canada?

I crunched some data to try and find where the highest proportion of 2nd and 3rd generation South Asian Canadians. I only included those areas that had a South Asian population of at least 500 people. These are the winners:

Municipality (CMA or CA**) 2nd or 3rd generation (%**) South Asian population (#**)
Port Alberni, BC 50% 560
Chilliwack, BC 48% 1,380
Victoria, BC 46% 10,215
Kamloops, BC 46% 2,510
Duncan, BC 45% 995

I think it's interesting to note 12.5% Port Alberni's South Asian population is 3rd generation or more which is the highest proportion of any place in Canada. The small town has two Sikh temples and one Hindu temple.
History: South Asians, first start settling in many of these areas in the 1900s and 1910s. They worked largely in the resource sector, with many successful lumber mills becoming South Asian owned by the 1940s. Many of these early South Asians came from the Punjab region and were of all faiths. Until the 1970's, most people of South Asian origin in BC attended Sikh temples, regardless of religion. Many South Asian firsts in Canada have roots in these interior BC communities: first Supreme Court Judge, first to be executed in Canada, first professional football player, first high school graduate, first mayor, and many more.
Why it matters: I imagine these are the places where ABCDs would be seen as more Canadian than anywhere else. I would imagine folks would feel less like outsiders in these places, or hear things like "Where are you really from?" I'd imagine that wider society in these places would have lived, worked and studied with South Asians for longer and would have a better understanding of Desi culture, and harbour less prejudice. These are all assumptions of course.

2020.09.24 23:39 Squads_MC_Server Squad's MC Server [Semi-Vanilla] {White-list} {No Griefing} {Active, Community Driven}

Squads MC Server aims to create a chill and friendly community-driven Minecraft server for all. Our server has no griefing, stealing, or PvP in the main survival world, and a small economy aspect with chest shops. We're looking to grow further and add more quality players. We average about 5-15 players online currently throughout the day. Our player base is aged mostly from 16-40, though all ages are allowed as long as they follow the rules.
We encourage big, involved, community projects and huge builds on this server, but also welcome the lone buildesurvivor :)
Discord Server: https://discord.gg/n2Ma9x8
IP: 104.128.51.32
DynMap: http://104.128.51.32:5723/index.html
Extended Server Info:
- Every week we hold a challenge in-game posted on the discord, and the winners get prizes!
- You can silk touch spawners
- There is access to /sethome, /home, /spawn, and /tpa. There is no access to /back.
- You cannot teleport at all in the end or nether. Only the vanilla portals will get you in and out
- The economy is based on diamonds, with 1 diamond = 1k. You can buy/sell diamonds at the admin shop for 1k each. Every other shop is player based with the ChestShop plugin
- The server reboots every night at 6 AM CST. It only takes 1 -2 min
- Main Plugins: Xconomy, ChestShop, DynMap, Coreprotect, BlockLocker, WorldEdit, WorldGuard, Multiverse
- Data packs: AFK Display, Armour States, Double Shulker Drops, Dragon Drops, Larger Phantoms, More Mob Heads, Multiplayer Sleep, Coordinates HUD, Durability Ping, Player Head Drops, Wandering Trades (all from Vanillatweaks 1.16)
Server Rules:
Absolutely No Griefing or Stealing. Griefing is defined as placing anything or breaking anything in another's area without their permission. Another player's area includes all blocks within 30 blocks of anything they have built. Stealing is defined as taking anything without permission you did not earn yourself. Breaking this rule will earn an insta-perma-ban.
PvP is turned off. PvP is only allowed in the PVP Arena. Do not cause inadvertent harm to another player in the survival world by doing things such as placing lava near them, pushing them off a cliff, or into a lake to drown while AFK, etc.
No Cheating. Cheating is defined as having any game-altering add-ons that give you an advantage over another player. Custom Clients are okay, as long as they do not feature cheats. Fullbright, HUD Coords, Armor Status, etc is okay. X-Ray, Flying, etc is not. Cheaters will be given the perma-ban hammer, with a low chance of appeal, no matter how long you have played on the server.
No Spam or Harassment. Spam is defined as reposting any message repetitively in a small time frame. Spam is not allowed with in-game chat or anywhere on the discord server. Harassment is defined as repetitively engaging with one or more certain individuals without their permission or after they have asked you to stop.
No Excessively Crude Language. No sexual Innuendo at all. Crude language is tolerated to a reasonable amount, which is up to Admin and Mod discretion. A good rule of thumb is if you have a curse word every other sentence, you should probably tone it down. Explicit nicknames are not allowed at all.
No Begging for Items in the chat-rooms. This falls slightly falls under spam and harassment. When you join the server, it is expected you play the game for yourself and earn items yourself. You are more than welcome to offer trades for goods, services, or currency, but begging for free items will not be tolerated.
Thanks for reading,
We hope you find a new home here on this server!

2020.09.24 23:16 VanguardFC EFT Notable Ammo Charts

Hey everyone. I wanted to share a Sheets document I created that covers ammo the community generally considers as "useful." Views on what is what will obviously differ, but I hope this meets the expectations of most players.
After continually referencing various videos and ammo charts, I found that there was a lot of data that was difficult to sift through and/or contained ammo & info that had low relevance to me. In response to this, I decided to create an easy-to-reference resource for myself. My initial goals were twofold: 1) present relevant data on relevant ammo 2) present the data in a way that's easy to read.
Upon finishing the first iteration of the overview page, I decided to build out the project with the intent of creating a utility that works for players both new and old. Some 60-hrs later, this is what I have to show for it.
Thank so much for checking out my charts, and I hope each of you find it useful. Enjoy!
